With the integration of the global payment provider Adyen, billwerk underlines its claim to be the leading subscription management platform in D/A/CH and the EU. By connecting Adyen, billwerk customers now have even more options for international payment processing.
Frankfurt am Main, March 12th, 2019 – With the integration of Adyen in the latest release, billwerk provides its customers with another relevant international payment provider for recurring payments. Adyen is a global payment provider that enables merchants to process recurring payments in e-commerce, mobile commerce and at the point of sale.
The Dutch payment provider supports companies worldwide in accepting payments from almost all sales channels. Adyen offers solutions for electronic payments with modern mobile/one-touch payment methods. You can use the global provider both for credit card payments and for the EU-wide SEPA Direct Debit Scheme.
“With the Adyen integration, we are underscoring our claim to be the leading subscription management platform in the EU,” says billwerk CEO Dr. Ricco Deutscher, explaining this measure. “More and more European corporates rely on our platform for their subscription business. As a result, the requirements to increasingly integrate international payment providers and payment methods are also increasing,” continues Deutscher. “There is currently no other subscription management platform operator worldwide that has integrated more German and European payment providers in a standardized way. In addition to GoBD certification, this gives us another unique selling proposition over our US competitors,” emphasizes billwerk CMO Pierre Schramm.
With the Adyen integration, billwerk customers along with BS Payone, GoCardless, SlimPay, Unzer (Heidelpay), Paypal and Stripe now have even more standard interfaces to German, European and global payment providers at their disposal.
